The Human Resources Department supports Huston-Tillotson University’s commitment to provide its increasingly diverse student body with an exemplary education by striving to attract, develop, motivate and retain the most responsive, talented and diverse faculty and staff who will be committed to helping the institution achieve its mission and goals.

Human Resources will be responsive to the needs of the faculty and staff and will effectively administer the human resource activities necessary to support the educational mission of the institution.  Human Resources strives to create an ethical institutional climate that enhances employee productivity and ensures recognition and respect for the worth and dignity of all employees.

The Office of Human Resources is located in the Agard-Lovinggood Administration Building, Room 212.  Office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding University holidays and/or breaks.

Human Resources provides information and assistance to the University community concerning employee benefits and administration, employment opportunities, and various staff development activities.
